I am happy to say congrats to my 2 they made it through the interview and both were offered a contract with the modeling agency we interviewed with.

Here they are pictured below the day of their interview.

So what comes next?

most likely you will be called back in to discuss and sign a contract. This would be a great time to ask about pay, your states laws on child labor, who is your agents top clients and if your agency is considered a boutique or a larger agency.

Now it is time to set your kids up with some professional Headshots! Book a photographer

What you need to know before you arrive for your scheduled Headshot session

When looking for a Headshot Photographer schedule a consultation! They are free after all. This is a great time to get on the same page with your photographer on just what you are looking for and what is required of your agency.

Don't try any new lotions/sunscreens or any new products on your child within a few days of your child's photo session. A nasty rash could delay this photo session by a week or more. Also 72 hours before make sure you are really hydrating your child water, water, water

The day of bring a few outfit changes. Now especially for boys make sure you have ironed their clothes and have both dressy and casual options to wear. If you need help shopping for clothing for this. I highly recommend using the stylist Jenny Norman with Tadea Styles click below to be taken to her contact page.

Have your child practice expressions and poses before hand. It is a great way to get them comfortable with being asked to do different expressions

Finally I always suggest having your child's hair professionally done for this. You may think you missed your calling as a hairstylist but trust me you can tell the difference between professionally done and "mom" done

If you are scheduling with me I suggest Kinna Blow Dry Bar in Viera, Florida. Tell them you are booking for a session with me and you get a special rate. Please do not wait until the day before to book this. Call them at least 2 weeks out for prime availability. Click below to go directly to their website.

That is really all you need to know. Stay tuned for more information on casting calls (what to expect) and what happens when your child actually does get the GIG!
